900 MHz Home Connection Monitor
(Safety 1st) $129.99 According
to our mom tester, this was the best thing she could have received to
review. She had an old system, but just had twins and now needed to keep
track of all four of her kids! She said she placed one in the nursery, one
where her other kids were playing and carried around the monitor with her.
She said that this is just and loves it!
Tubside
Bath Seat (Safety 1st)
$19.95 Our tester raved about this product! She had this to say, "It's Great! It really hurts my back and my husbands to bend over for bath
time. The ring provides much needed support when washing our daughter. It has really neat safety features too - when you sit her in the ring, guards come
down towards her legs...so there is no room for her to wiggle out of the ring. It stores small too. I would definitely recommend this ring over a
conventional ring."
Neat Diaper Disposal System
(Safety 1st) $29.99 Although our tester
found this more difficult to set up than her previous system, she did feel it
was easier to use there is no twisting, just a simple push/pull. Further, the unit is higher so you don't have to bend as
much. Our testers husband has a bad back so he appreciates this feature. What about odor control? Well, according to our tester she never smells a thing so she says
"It works pretty darn well! Her husband also reported that "its much easier to empty. He also mentioned that it has a greater capacity, which is a big bonus."
Secure Lock Bed
Rail (Safety 1st) $29.99
Anyone who has had a child jump out of the crib knows it's time to move them to their own bed. Our testers had tried a toddler bed, but that just didn't seem to sit well with their son so they moved him to his own bed. After falling out a couple of times they were thrilled when I gave them this to review. They stated that the liked the lock indicators so that they new it was in position and it was also easy to fold down to put their son to bed when he fell asleep elsewhere. They added that they liked the fact they no longer had to worry about him falling out of bed!
Laugh
and Learn Learning Home (Fisher Price) Ages 6 -36 months, $59.99
This was reviewed by a new mom and several of her friends kids. The seven
month old was intrigued by all the little items that he could put in his mouth -
like the mail. He also liked the colors and sounds. The two-year-old
that played with it though really used it for all of it's bells and
whistles. He loved crawling in and out of the door and getting the
responses from the buttons he pressed. "It's easy to see why this is
an award winning toy" says our tester. "This is fabulous!"
It kept all the kids within the age range entertained at various levels.
The mom really liked that it taught opposites, numbers, colors, shapes and
songs. "It's a great gift for for any child!" (Winner
of the Mom-Tested! Pick Award by Parenting Magazine and Winner for Ages (0-12
months) by Parents Best Toys of the Year Magazine)
The
Big V Pillow (Theraline) According to our tester this pillow was a
"lifesaver" for both her and her husband! During her pregnancy
she had about 5 pillows in the bed and she said she was miserable. I gave
her the "Big V Pillow" to test and she loved it! She said she
was able to remove all the pillows in her bed and sleep comfortably. Now,
this pillow is not just for pregnancy. Now that she's had her baby she is
having a great time using this for nursing. She said she never has to prop
the baby with pillows on the couch that this supports her back as well as the
baby's head. She is delighted with this pillow and agrees that at $59.99
it's a bargain. She was thrilled that she got to review it and finally get
a good night sleep! Note: This also supports the baby when it is learning
to sit up! Available at www.thebigvpillow.com
