At first I was skeptical, but after listening to it with my kids I have to say
this is great! The kids love to hear their names in the songs. They
are convinced that it was written just for them. The songs are catchy, the
voices are great and what's more they are singing in the car instead of
fighting. I got two copies to review, one for each of my kids and now we have to alternate between
Madison & Alex. Alex who is three is the biggest fan of this CD. He plays
certain songs over and over again while attempting to sing them. It's a
great gift for the Holidays, Birthdays, or just an "I Love You" gift.

the perfect holiday gift for anyone on your list. It includes holiday songs from
Sarah McLachlan, Sixpence None the Richer, Dido, Neil Finn and more.
Since I love Sarah McLachlan's voice I have to say that "God Rest Ye Merry
Gentlemen" with the Barenaked Ladies was my favorite as well as "Song
for a Winter's Night."
 For
The Kids Too! features
Butterfly Boucher, They Might Be Giants, Jason Mraz, Nada Surf, Matthew Sweet
and more! These are cute kids songs by artists familiar to parents. It's
nice to hear Lisa Loeb, Robyn Hitchcock and Matthew Sweet. My kids really
liked "At The Bottom of the Sea" best. Another nice thing about
this CD is that a portion of it's sales got to a charity. The Lili
Claire Foundation benefits from the
sale of this one.
Care
Bears Holiday Hugs (Madacy
Kids) $7.99 If your grandchild is a fan of the Care Bears they enjoy this CD
which includes songs like Up On The Housetop, Jingle Bells and The 12 Days of
Christmas.
 Under A Big Bright Yellow Umbrella
(Yosi Music) $14.99 This CD is filled with upbeat, child friendly music.
The music is fun and fresh and has influences from Reggae to the Blues. A
nice change of pace that the whole family can enjoy! From what I've read
Yosi is a real treat to watch live, so if you ever have a chance why not take
your grandchildren - it's good wholesome fun!
 Classical
Fun Sing-A-Longs (Classical FUN Music) $14.95 Do you love
classical music but just can't get your kids to listen to it? Well this
might do the trick. This cd takes classical tunes like Für Elise, Ode To
Joy and Ave Maria and sets words to the music. Having grown up with
classical music and opera I have already made sure my kids love this music,
however it's a great introduction if you haven't forced your kids to listen to
classical music and fine tuned their ears!

Kids) $15.98 Tired of listening to Barney or the Wiggles? Yearning
to get your kids or grandkids into a different groove? Check out Putumayo
Kids CD's. This refreshing CD makes you long for sandy beaches and
warm breezes. Kids will enjoy the Reggae beats which make it impossible to
not move along. Our mom tester said "my two boys really enjoyed this
CD and asked for it again and again in the car!"

from the Chocolate Lands (Putamayo)
$15.98 Music from the Chocolate Lands is a delicious compilation
CD featuring artist's from chocolate producing countries. The music is soulful,
rich and a delight to the ear. I've long been a fan of music by artists
from Brazil and Cuba so this was an acoustic delight. My favorite songs
are Sabiá which reminds me of João Gilberto and Aquí No Será which of
course had me longing for a vacation now that the winter has arrived. It's
a great CD full of wonderful music that if you play loud kids will have no
choice but to samba and salsa right along!
