Prima Pappa Rocker (PegPerego) $179.99
When I had my first child I inherited a Peg Perego high chair.  That chair was then handed down to my sister-in-law.  This is like the Ferrari in the high chair world.  They are really well designed, sleek, stylish and long lasting.  They recline in 4 different positions and come with 7 different height options.
It comes with two trays, one for dinner and one for play.  The large one is dishwasher safe.  They are designed with a 5 point harness system and a bar between the legs for when you child is older.  The wheels roll and brake well and the whole unit folds compactly for storage.  All in all it's a great highchair that you can use for several kids!

Eddie Bauer Natural Wood High Chair (Dorel Juvenile Group) $99.99

This is a very nice high chair brings you back to basics with a solid wood construction.  It doesn't raise, or lower, tilt or play music, but according to our mom-tester this is a really great highchair that can stand the test of time.  It's easy to clean and move around, fits well with her simple, country decor and her son is happy in it.  She wished it had the 5-point harness that some other high chairs have, but overall she was happy with the design.  Some things to note, since it doesn't recline your child needs to sit up well before you can use it, it's also a bit heavier than the plastic ones, but also therefore sturdier.  Overall our mom-tester thought it was a really nice high chair and is happy to have it in her home.

Table Toppers (Neat Solutions Inc.)  This is a must for a parent or grandparent (with toddlers) on the go.  These disposable placemats are great for the new self-feeder. They adhere to the table top to provide a barrier against germs and dirt.  The child can't push them away (like a bowl) and they come in multi-packs of  either 8-mats or 20-mats. Their new styles include Blues Clues, Dora the Explorer and even SpongeBob to make them even more appealing.  You can find them at most major retailers. Just $8.99 for the 20 count pack.
