 Sling
Tote and Mothership Diaper Bags (Fleurville)
Our new mom testers just raved about these bags. They are trendy and fun,
yet durable and well designed. They loved the plastic over the gorgeous
fabrics. "They stay beautiful and are able to be wiped
clean." Our moms both agreed that they were thrilled to take them
along as their only bags. Both have plenty of pockets. The
sling tote features 2 fleece lined, 4 elastic topped pockets with 1 zippered pocket for valuables,
an Insulated bottle holder which is a life saver, wipes case, messenger strap,
tote handles and stroller attachments. The Mothership features 3 exterior pockets and 3 elastic topped pockets inside,
padded non-skid shoulder strap, insulated bottle holder, changing pad in its own sleeve and more. The
Sling Tote retails for $130, and the Mothership retails for $150.
"girl"
Shirt (Due & Sprout)
$60.00
Maybe your daughter or daughter-in-law isn't quite the new mom yet, but she's
expecting - like me. Well this is a great gift! I was given the a
"girl" shirt with long sleeves in black. It's made of thick,
soft cotton, nice long sleeves and has cute sayings. It's nice because now
people don't assume I've just gained weight and they don't have to ask what I'm
having! I'll try and get a picture of myself up wearing it - but I'm not a
big fan of being photographed at the moment! I just LOVE this shirt though
and will be sad to give it away after the baby, but I'm NOT having another
one!!!
Allure
vintage tote (Moonsus)
$200
For a working mom this is a great bag. It's large enough to
carry work papers and a spare diaper and changing clothes. It's not
designed as a diaper bag, but it's a great stylish bag that new moms will
appreciate. Our mom-tester who returned to work when her daughter was
4-months-old appreciated the security of being able to carry around an extra
diaper - just in case! The bag features a large leather front pocket, a main
compartment that zippers, inner pockets for a Blackberry , and cell phone pocket
with strap. The fabric is a beautiful water and stain resistant Jacquard that is
really stylish. It's a great gift for a new mom, working mom or
yourself!
MommySox
$12.95
I got to test these since I'm pregnant with my third.
They have great support which helps my flat feet. The low ankle is my
favorite and they don't "quit" - creep down into your sneakers when
you walk. They also stay nice and dry. It's a nice little gift for a
new mom, or a grandma!

Tottie
(angela adams) $259.00
New moms don't always want to be carrying diaper bags - I know I didn't. I
wanted a bag I could cram a diaper, wipes and outfit into along with my wallet
and keys. This bag is perfect for that. It's stylish, trendy and hip
with LOADS of room. It has a zip top closure that actually completely
unzips like a coat. The beauty behind this is you don't have to have it
zippered all the time and the zipper won't rip. The side pockets fit
necessities and have magnetic enclosures. There is an interior zip pocket and as
usual a really nice fabric lining. This is a great bag for the mom on the
go who doesn't want that "mom" look!
Paris
Backpack (Mobile
Edge) $99.99
We gave this backpack to a new mom who had recently
returned back to work. She loved the stylish lines of this backpack that
was not only great for work but great for traveling with her little ones.
She said that "toting my computer always left me without an extra hand, but
having my heavy computer on my back really freed me up - plus it looks really
great." This bag has a plenty of
pockets inside, great padding for her computer plus a removable cosmetic
bag. Designed in Black Microfiber with Faux Leather it's also really
easy to keep clean. A must for moms!
CoolDryComfort™
Pajamas (Karen
Neuburger) $72.00
I have suffered from night sweats for the last few years. Some nights I
actually have to change my clothes three times. To say it's horrible is an
understatement. Now that I'm pregnant my night sweats on some nights are
even worse -- probably all those extra hormones. Anyway, the PR person
from Karen Neuburger was kind enough to send me a pair of these to test and they
are a dream. They are comfortable, cool, soft and feminine. They
have allowed me to stay dry and get a better night sleep. After I have the
baby I'm sure they'll be a lifesaver since I'm expecting to sweat more than
ever! They are a great gift for a new mom!

Everyday
Photo Album & Photo
Clutch (Photoworks)
$12.95 & $40.00
After our recent family vacation I made my Mom a photo album of pictures of them
enjoying the beach with their grandchildren. My mom, who has never carried
a "brag book" now carries this book with her everywhere! She
absolutely loves it and of course has shown it to all her friends. Now I'm
in the process of making two Photo Clutches which is a beautiful,
interchangeable Photo Book. It showcases 12 to 18 of you own favorite digital
pictures, is professionally printed with crisp resolution on French-folded paper,
hardback bound, and comes in an imported leather wallet with an invisible
magnetic closure. The great thing about this book is that you can
change out the books at any time. These are a great gift for
the new mom, new dad, grandparent -- just about anyone who loves photos! Priced at only $40 for the Clutch Book and leather wallet; refill books are
available individually for $16.95. The everyday books start at $12.95 and
include 20 pages.
Rockin
Baby Sling $87.00
These
handmade slings are just great for the new mom. They look great, keep the
baby close to you, let you nurse in comfort and are fashionable too. Our
new mom just loved the sling saying she felt really "hip." She
loved the fabric saying it was a nice change from the carriers she had used with
her other children. She also really liked the fact that it could be
adjusted as her baby grows. The slings are made of 100% cotton linen,
cotton twill, cotton poplin, or cotton voile. Rockin' Baby Slings was
started by two new mothers, Lisa McDaniel and Natasha Walsh and are conceived
and manufactured in Los Angeles, California, USA.
iGels
(DuWop)
All us Moms seem to have
perpetual bags under our eyes, well DuWop has figured out a way for us to soothe
them without feeling like a human salad! The iGels are cool when you put
them on and smell wonderful. Our tired Mom testers all love this product -
they just wish they had more time to enjoy them! The one thing they all
thought was great is that you can reuse them up to 8 times! There are 3 in
a packet and cost $20.00.
The Diaper Diaries:
The Real Poop On A New Mom’s First Year
By Cynthia L. Copeland
"Hilarious." states our mom reviewer. "This is the wittiest book I’ve read in this category. It's
a must buy. I laughed through most of the book. Realistically portrays what life with a baby will be like. The book covers everything from your stay in the hospital to life with a small baby to different types of moms you will encounter.
The illustrations are really funny and creative. The book also covers some tips that will help you keep your sanity. My husband also thought this book was really funny."
