Ages 8 and up
Tamagotchi
Mini-Connection (Bandai)
(Ages 8 and up) The micro, virtual pets are a huge hit with kids.
They are like the larger version, but much smaller. Our testers nurtured
and played with their "pets" making sure they were fed, cleaned and
put to sleep.
Star Wars Revenge of the Sith (Hasbro)
(Ages 5-8) $7.99 Star Wars is back and it's hotter than ever. Hasbro
new collectible figures and they are flying off the shelves. Our
testers just love them.
American Girl
Talk to Me™ Lip Balms: $4.00 These are probably the best lip balms to soothe
chapped lips. They come in delicious flavors like tropical, raspberry, watermelon, and vanilla
and they are smooth and creamy. They make great gifts -- especially during
the harsh winter months. The girls will feel grown up, but there's no
color. Our testers ranging in age from 6-10 loved them!
Nerf Weather Blitz All Conditions Football
(Hasbro) (Ages 6+)
$9.99 Our testers used this during the summer at the beach and it was
great. The ball is designed with a weather resistant surface so your fingers
actually grip the ball. It's great for the beach and we're guessing great
for the snow. Since a ball requires at least two to play get one for your
grandson or daughter and you'll be able to go out and play in the snow on
Christmas day!

Fly
Wheels (Jakks
Pacific) (Ages 8+) $6.99 Our testers just had a blast with the Fly
Wheels. They raced the down the streets and on their decks. They are
a fun collectible stocking stuff - but make sure you keep them away from
anything breakable and don't let your grandchildren launch them towards other
kids. They go REALLY fast!
Magic
Washcloths (BasicFun)
All Ages, $3.00 These washcloths make bathtime and cleaning fun! They
start out small (perfect size for mailing, stockings or hiding) and when dropped
in the tub expand to full 12" x 12" washcloth size. They come in
a couple of fun styles including Build-A-Bear, Tonka, Hello Kitty (pictured) and
My Little Pony.
Strike-A-Pose
Kitty Catwalk Cell Phone Bags (North
American Bear Company) (Ages 8+) $7.50 If your granddaughter has
a cell phone (or even a pretend one) she'll just love this little colorful cell
phone bag. Our 8-year-old tester who doesn't have a cell phone puts her
fake one in it and places it in her purse. She says she's keeping it until
she has a real one. Older kids with real cell phones will love it
too!
Color
Explosion (Crayola)
(Ages 6+) $7.99 Our testers (and parents) just LOVE this product.
First it's really cool and secondly there's no mess! Our testers, who
loved scratch art, really love this because it's easy and fun. They could
make a variety of designs or use the enclosed stencils. Each pack comes
with tons of paper and three markers so you won't run out. Just be careful
not to touch the paper with wet hands it will ruin the paper. The sets
should be stored in the enclosed ziploc bag. It's a really great, creative
gift -- that will of course will keep giving since we're sure that Grandparents
will receive more refrigerator art as a result!
Friends 4-Ever Jewels & More
- CLIKITS (Lego)
Ages 6+, $9.99 This CLIKITS set is pretty cool. The 2-in-1 set has two identical collections of jewelry and hair
clips that you and a best friend can share. Our testers, best friends aged
7 and 8 had fun making their jewelry that included two rings, hair clips, jewelry boxes and two "Best Friend"
bracelets.
