Revolution Stroller (BOB Strollers) We are often told by parents that the gift they have loved most from their parents or in-laws is their jogging stroller.  We asked the people at BOB if we could test their popular Revolution Stroller (available in two new colors this year) and they were happy to oblige.

Tested by several moms, grandmothers and a grandfather or two, they've all found that the BOB Revolution is a great fit for joggers and non-joggers alike.  The versatile stroller has a rotating 12" inch front wheel that allows for great maneuverability and handling and can also be locked into place for safe jogging and off-road use.  It features a suspension system, a five-point safety harness, a roomy seat, and extra storage underneath and behind the seat.  We loved the huge canopy that protects the baby/toddler from the sun and the peek-a-boo window that lets you periodically check in.  The Revolution folds flat for easy transport and the wheels quickly pop off for storage purposes. The straps have lots of loops to attach teething rings or toys and the two side pockets on the stroller are perfect for juice boxes or sippy cups.

Our testers commented that they loved the fact that even with their child and a large pack underneath, the stroller felt almost weightless.  Going up hills was a breeze, and off road, it was remarkably smooth.  Our infant tester got used to it pretty quickly and soon fell asleep during walks.  Our only comment was that although it had an emergency brake which was easy to activate, we wished the unit had a hand brake to slow it down on steep downhill surfaces.  As a gift, you couldn't give a better-designed jogging stroller.  Any first, second or fifth time mom and dad would love this!  The BOB Revolution retails for $359. Schwinn Safari TT Single Jogging Stroller w/ Swivel Wheel (Pacific Cycles) $199.99
If you are looking for an affordable, practical, well designed jogging stroller you'll love this one.  The Schwinn Safari TT Single Jogging Stroller has "all the features you need," commented our mom reviewer.  She loved the "lightweight frame and easy one-hand fold."  She commented that she liked that she could quickly lock the front wheel so that it doesn't swivel -- which is a "must" for jogging.  The canopy is large enough for good sun coverage and the window is a great feature, that is necessary to "spy" on your child.  "If you can't see if they are awake or asleep it's a real pain!  I hated my old stroller where I had to stop, look in front and then continue, just to make sure they were comfortable."

Our testers reported that this stroller features the 5-point safety harness, which is a must as well as a child and parent tray.  "This is a great feature because if you use it at the mall you'll want to have your drink at hand.  Also good for shopping is the ample storage bin underneath the seat."  Our tester found the stroller very easy to open and close, which is important and that it is fairly lightweight - coming in at just over 20lbs.  One of the great features is also the suspension, which on bumpier roads helps keep your child comfortable.  Some other nice features about this jogging stroller is that it has adjustable handle height which means if Dad is taller then you - it will comfortably accommodate him. Also all the fabric is machine washable, which is great for those sippy cup spills!  All in all a great product.

A3 Pramette (Peg Perego)   This wonderful stroller was given to us to test at just the perfect time.  Since I had recently donated all my strollers I decided that this would be one that I would test with my new baby.  My last stroller which I inherited from my sister was a Peg Perego Martinelli and I loved it.  It was great for durability, handing and comfort, so I was sad that I had donated it only to find I was pregnant again!  Well the A3 Pramette is a stroller that converts quickly and easily from carriage to stroller which means you can use it for ages without the expense of having more than one stroller.  It has a luxurious dual-purpose upholstery that easily adapts from a plush baby bed to a cozy stroller seat with a “zip, fold and zip”.  It also is incredibly well padded so the baby stays comfortable.  The A3 is very easy to fold with one hand, has two really cool designed cup holders that recess into the frame, a very roomy under carriage storage and is travel system compatible.  The front wheels swivel or lock, the back rest reclines to several positions and the canopy is very large.  It provides great sun, wind and rain coverage!  This stroller is very similar to the very expensive, very trendy strollers that retail for almost three times the price.   It's worth every penny in design, functionality and is most certainly going to be handed down to other friends and family.  I have no doubt as with other Peg Perego's that this will stand the test of time!   It retails for $349.99 click here to find a retailer near you.

Mosaic™ Travel System (Graco) $199.99

The Mosaic Travel System by Graco boasts all the comforts of a travel system without the bulkiness normally associated with them.  The stroller features a sleek design European design that supports easy maneuverability with it's front swiveling wheels, as well as creature comforts for mom like a cup holder.

Our mom-tester liked the fact that she could use either a 3 or 5-point harness and that she could adjust the reclining seat with one hand.  Folded she said the stroller fit fine in her car and wasn't too heavy. The car seat that comes with the system was another winner with our mom-tester.  It comes with the "Graco SnugRide" infant seat that has a 5-point harness, an adjustable chest clip and an infant head support.  The car seat is designed to work with LATCH equipped cars.   Our mom-tester was thrilled with this car seat.  She also loves the fact that as her child grows the stroller will accommodate them without being to infant like or bulky in design.

Aura™ Elite Travel System (evenflo) $179.99
We gave this travel system to a brand-new, first-time mom to review and she was thrilled.  She said, "it was really easy to fold down using evenflo's one-hand system."  She found it very easy to steer which was nice.  She felt that her baby was very secure in the car seat when it was installed in the stroller.  She liked the flat recline and boot cover, which is perfect for colder months.  She also liked the oversize storage basket which held all the diapers, bottles and changes of clothes that she now has to lug around.

Since she's an avid Starbucks drinker she really liked the additional cup holder that kept her coffee up and away from her baby.  She said, "the stroller rides very smoothly, it folds up fairly compact to fit in my SUV and isn't too heavy to lift."  As infant car seats go she liked the 5-point harness with infant head pillow and found the handle easy to lift and hold. She thought it would be a very nice gift for a first time mom!

Duo Glider Travel System (Graco) $249.99  The Graco Duo Glider certainly serves its purpose well.

The Duo Glider features include an extremely easy one-button mechanism, which allows the parent/caregiver to unfold and re-fold the stroller for storage. The stroller’s seats are also extremely easy to operate, with a one-pull mechanism on both seats that allows a lower reclining position on the seat. Sometimes, it is slightly difficult to pull off the trays on each seat, especially when trying to put an older child in the rear seat.

The tray for the Graco Snug Ride car seat easily fits a younger child with little or no problem; however, sometimes it has been challenging pulling the car seat out of this position. It would also be convenient if a younger child in a car seat were able to sit in the rear stroller seat, as it would be more convenient to get to the child more quickly when immediate attention is necessary. Also, with the child in the front passenger seat, there is really no way to protect the child from outdoor elements (sun, rain, snow). The top portion of the stroller doesn’t go all the way over the car seat, which is unfortunate.

The Duo Glider features plenty of underneath basket space for diaper bags, coats and other child essentials, as well as great tray space for sippy cups and bottle. When steering the Duo Glider, it goes smoothly and doesn’t create any awkwardness. Overall, the Duo Glider’s weight is also not an issue as it is fairly easy to lift in and out of cars, although perhaps there is a way of having it fold down a little more compactly. It does take up a lot of trunk space. Another feature, which would be nice to include in future models, is a height adjustment on the stroller.

The Duo Glider’s material is also extremely neutral and tasteful and coordinates with most Graco Snug Ride Car Seats.

Overall, the Graco Duo Glider is a sturdy, dependable stroller for two that should be considered when looking for these types of products.
