Daddy’s Spirit Moves Me Forward -- Facilitating positive experiences for children who are grieving the loss of their father.   “Our mission is to serve children whose fathers have died” says Ron Opher, Executive Director, who lost his father at age 15. “We hope to demonstrate, at an appropriate time for each individual child in their grieving process, that it’s OK to have fun again.” Opher hopes that Daddy’s Spirit will be able, with the assistance of businesses and individuals, to provide outlets for children to participate in enjoyable activities – ones that they may have shared with their father or new activities that they are interested in pursuing.
