3-Way™ Entertainer Activity Center
(by Graco, $79.99)
Our tester, a mother-of-two already had an activity center, but
she was having problems. Her son, a rather tall 6-month-old kept tipping
it over. When we told her we had a "brand new" activity center
to test - she was thrilled. Her reports on this activity center were
glowing. First she said, "this has more bells and whistles than any
activity center I've ever seen!" She reported that her son loved all
the activities, and she loved the fact that this will continue to grow,
especially into the toddler years. She thought it was great that the unit
opens up to a play station once they no longer want or need to sit in the
seat. A real winner that will stand the test of hand-me-down time!
Evenflo MegaSaucer Activity Center
(by Evenflo, $64.99)
This mega saucer is really nicely equipped for the price.
It has nine interactive toys that encourage movement without sensory
overload. It's perfect for babies four months to walking. Our
tester, a new mother, loved the fact that she could remove and wash the seat and
that the unit has the option of rocking or not rocking by pulling down the small
feet on the bottom of the unit. Her son loved the little teether and
musical toy and was thoroughly entertained.
Tiny
Steps Walker with Mini Maestro (by Kolcraft, $49.99)
Our mother-of-three tester really liked this walker. She
had never used walkers in the past for fear of accidents, but liked this because
it has brakes and can be kept in one place. Her daughter had fun with the
activities. Another feature our mom-tester liked was that this converts to
a walk-behind walker, she liked that this work as her daughter becomes a more
accomplished walker. Overall she thought it was very good.
Open Top 6 speed Swing - Cubby Parade
(by Graco, $99.99)
Our tester a mother-of-three used this with her new 5-month-old
baby. Her daughter found this to be very stimulating and enjoyed the
musical features. Our tester said the swing was really easy to use,
and loved the naps her daughter took while she was in the mobile.
Although her daughter enjoyed the mobile, her mom thought it needed to be
relocated. She thought it would be better in front of her face and not
above her head. Since her daughter enjoys it so much, it's a winner!
The swing has 6 speeds, 4 timer settings, 15 musical tunes, 4 position reclining
seat. (Don't forget the batteries, this takes 4 alkaline “D” cells.)
