ELIGIBILITY

Open only in the United States to U.S. residents who have Internet access,
have an existing email address and/or mailing address before 9/1/03, and are
at least 18 years old as of the date of entry.

Employees or agents of Grandparents Magazine™ (d.b.a. GrandparentsMagazine.net), ("Grandparents Magazine™" or "Sponsor"), its affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, and the employees, officers, directors, and agents of any of the above organizations, and the members of the immediate family or those living in the same households (whether related or not) of such individuals are not eligible.

HOW TO ENTER

To enter, simply visit the Grandparents Magazine™ website at www.GrandparentsMagazine.net and submit your entry by fully registering on  our site. Sweepstakes begins 12:01 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on 9/6/03, and all entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. EST on 9/30/03. One entry per person. No responsibility is assumed for late, lost, or misdirected entries or for telecommunications-system, computer-software, or hardware errors or data loss.

SELECTION OF WINNERS

One (1) winner will be selected will be selected on or about 10/15/03, in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received by Grandparents Magazine™. The winner will be notified by email.

PRIZES
One lucky winner will receive a prize package (including dolls, environments, and accessories from the Happy Family™ doll line) valued at no less than $100.00.

No substitution or cash equivalent of prize permitted. Sponsor reserves the right to award prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize is not available. All taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Please allow 8 to 10 weeks to receive your prize.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

Void where prohibited by law. The sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state, and local laws. By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the judges' decisions on all matters relating to this sweepstakes. Winner may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and a Liability/Publicity Release within fifteen (15) days of notification attempt, or an alternate winner may be selected. By accepting prize, winner grants to Grandparents Magazine™ the right to use his or her name, likeness, and biographical information for any lawful purpose, including on the Grandparents Magazine™ website, without further permission or compensation, except where prohibited by law.

By accepting a prize, winner agrees to release Grandparents Magazine™ and its affiliates and advertising/promotional agencies from any and all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to person or property that may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize or with participation in this sweepstakes. By entering this sweepstakes, entrant agrees that the sponsor, its affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, and the employees, officers, directors, and agents of any of the above organizations shall not be liable for any computer hardware, software, or peripherals utilized in participating in the sweepstakes. 

Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for technical, hardware, software, or telephone malfunctions of any kind, for lost or unavailable network connections, or for any equipment or programming-associated connections, or for failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled, or delayed electronic communications with or utilized in this sweepstakes that may limit the ability to play or participate, or for any human error that may occur in the processing of the entries in this sweepstakes. If for any reason (including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the control of Sponsor that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this sweepstakes) the sweepstakes is not capable of being conducted as described in these Official Rules, Sponsor shall have the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the sweepstakes.

All decisions by the Sponsor with respect to the operation of the sweepstakes are final.
