Little Tikes Home Improvements 2-sided Workshop (Little Tikes, ages 2 and up, $50.00

Do you have a son or son-in-law that spends every weekend at Home Depot?  Do you have a grandchild that just can't wait for those weekend trips?  Does your grandchild leap every time the cordless drill and hammer come out?  If so, this is the perfect gift for them.  I can't tell you how many times I've had to retrieve my husbands tools from my son, so when I received this for testing, I decided my son had to personally test this one.  My son thinks it's great.  He has his own bench top, peg board  for tools, a hammer, screwdriver, nails bolts and more. Every time my husband pulls out his tools so does my son.  Now at least I don't have to worry about what's going to be broken next!  All he needs now is a tool belt and he's set! Assembly is easy and you just need 3 “AA” alkaline batteries that aren't included.

Electronic Shot Clock Basketball Game (Little Tikes, ages 3 to 10, $69.99)

We gave this basketball game to a local school to test, since the oldest child there is 6 we didn't really get the full range of testers, but the little ones were able to enjoy it and that was good.  The kids seemed to love playing basketball and enjoyed the electronic scoring, saying "it felt like the kind of basketball they saw on TV."  The teachers felt it was a little too noisy for an indoor toy, but thought that it would be fine outdoors when the weather improves.  The set adjusts to 5 heights from 4 to 6 feet and includes a breakaway rim and junior-size basketball.
